Toni J.B. Liu

I am a third year physics PhD student at Cornell University, advised by Professor Chris Earls. Broadly speaking, I am interested in using machine learning to understand physical systems, and using physics and dynamical system theory to understand how machines learn. Currently, I am researching large language models as part of the SciAI Center.

I received my B.S. in applied physics from Caltech, and B.A. in physics and film studies from Wesleyan University.
